“Fever!” is a brand new show devised specifically for the Cafe Culture Series audience. Rebecca Barnard, Brooke Russell, Monique di Mattina and Jacqueline Tonks belt out harmony versions of asn exquisite choice of songs ranging from jazz, rock, blues, folk and original chart toppers from the past decade. these three dynamic singers are accompanied by a talent packed live band.

The New Hip

It’s an intelligent, insightful, bitingly honest comedy. Stephen Blackburn (TV Fast forward & Australia You’re Standing In It, Choir of Hard Knocks) and his trio will present his very witty original songs aimed at modern absurdities, pretence & frustrations in a dizzying array of musical styles. His engaging patter from the piano takes the audience through unexpected moments of genuine poignancy spiked with belly laughs.

Sharp musianship and silken 4 part harmonies fuel this acoustic driven band who pfresents a flashback to 70’s radio sound with impressively penned originals inspired by the big names of the era. America, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, The Band, Little Feat, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Emy Lou Harris, Crosby Still Nash & Young.

Dr Hernandez

Dr Hernandez play an exotic tonic of rootsy electro-cumbia, soulful boogaloo and funky reggae. Bringing a new twist to these traditions, the band combines electronic beats and Hammond-infused grooves with a three-piece horn section, percussion & Sally Ford’s soaring Spanish vocals. This is music for dancing, listening or just lounging. Guaranteed to be good for whatever ails you.
